What's on along the Stellenbosch Wine Routes (from 09/03/2018)
It’s Autumn and although our mornings are cool and fresh, we are still enjoying beautiful sunny days. So there is no excuse not to explore and discover, play, savour and taste and enjoy.
Here are a few things we are looking forward to over the weekend.
WINE TASTINGS AT DE WARENMARK – SIMON WINE BAR
Firstly, did you know that De Warenmarkt served only wines from Stellenbosch producers? Yes, they are #Proudly Stellenbosch and we love that, so we are presenting daily tastings themed by sub route. You still have a chance to taste wines from the Simonsberg Sub Route today (Thurs, 8 March) and Helderberg-Stellenbosch (Friday, 9 March) from 17h00 to 19h00. On Saturday morning (10h00 till 12h00) we are ending on a high note with some MCC tastings by Simonsig, Louisvale and Thelema.

MIDDELVLEI STEAKBRAAI AND LIVE MUSIC
Middelvlei – home of Boerebraai – is celebrating the harvest by hosting their popular Steakbraai and Golden Oldies music performed live, this Friday. Feast on Steak & Concertina potatoes, Potbrood, Green Salad and round it all off with a glass of delicious Middelvlei wine, coffee and something sweet in the end.
Who can say no to great food, excellent wine, live music and special company making this an evening to remember. Heaps of fun with Grape stomping, Barrel rolling and Cork spitting for young and old to enjoy!

HARVEST TOUR EXPERIENCE AT JORDAN WINE ESTATE
So this is not happening on the weekend but still well worth a visit to Jordan Wine Estate.
If you want to find out more about the harvest and experience activities in the cellar cellar, taste juice and fermenting wines from tank, taste additional wines outside on the terrace, look no further than Jordan Wine Estate at the end of the Stellenbosch Kloof Road.
Included: Guided tour, and tastings
Exclusions: Meals, soft drinks, by the bottle purchases, by the glass purchases, merchandise.
What to Wear: PLEASE WEAR CLOSED SHOES FOR CELLAR ENTRY.
