It's wedding season in Stellenbosch. We all know how stressful this time of year can be for future brides and grooms, from the endless to do lists, unexpected surprises and seemingly impossible choices to be made. Tasting notes - "Green apple and subtle rasberry flavours with a hint of lime on the nose. Serve at your bridal shower breakfast or as an aperitif on the day.

Tasting notes - "strawberry and raspberry aromas with hints of Muscat on the nose. The rich, honeyed palate bursts with vivacious bubbles and has a crisp, fresh finish." The perfect summer drink. Enjoy at sundowners or on a hot day beside the pool. It also pairs beautifully with dessert.
Sunrise Brut Method Cap Classique
This stunning MCC is named after the magnificent 118.08 carat Delaire Sunrise, the largest square emerald cut fancy vivid yellow diamond in the world cut and polished by Graff Diamonds.
Tasting notes - "Green-tinged and pale lemon yellow in colour, it displays a fine and integrated mousse with aromas of fresh gooseberry on the nose with citrus notes of lime and grapefruit. The palate is delicate yet complex with subtle hints of vanilla. The Sunrise Brut is a zesty, fresh and balanced wine that lingers long after the last sip.”

Tasting notes - "A full-bodied classical style Méthode Cap Classique, this old world style sparkling wine crafted from the finest selected parcels of the traditional grape varieties Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The Chardonnay contributes elegance whilst Pinot Noir provides intensity and richness. A subtle pale gold colour in line with a very delicate and elegant nose. Freshly baked brioche and biscotti aromas with a rich lees-creaminess and a tantalizing mineral richness."

Tasting Notes - "A traditional, yet fun and flirtatious MCC with flair that delights the palate as much as the eye. A delicate silver pink hue with a lively cascading sparkle, aromas of cherries and red berries with elegant layers of finesse and decadence on the palate."

Peter Falke 2014 Methode Cap Classique
Two ranges of wine are brought to life at Groenvlei. The Signature range, with its contemporary mirrored label, attracts the discerning wine connoisseur, while our PF range embodies relaxed, stylish sociability, with a light multifaceted character that plays on the senses.
This 100% Chardonnay MCC, made by outgoing winemaker Miles Mossop has been 12 years in the making and is the first release. A 2011 vintage with only 3000 bottles produced.
Tasting notes - “This bubbly has a vibrant light golden hue with a hint of green in the colour. The mousse is exceptionally fine and consistent. The aromas are those of freshly baked brioche, fresh apples and a hint lemon blossom. The fine bubbles explode in your mouth upon entry. The palate is mouth filling with flavours of toasted almonds, freshly buttered toast, lemon and lime preserve with a long finish, which hints of a slightly saline mineral note. This leaves one wanting to take another sip.”
